RECREATING IN THE SNRA!

The Sawtooth National Recreation Area includes 756,000-acres of public and private land in central Idaho. It has four mountain ranges (Sawtooth, Boulder, White Cloud and Smoky) and contains 50 snowcapped peaks, each exceeding 10,000 feet; 500 alpine lakes; numerous lush meadows, countless species of wildlife and remnants of our pioneer heritage. It is also the headwaters of four of Idaho’s major rivers, Salmon, Payette, Boise and Big Wood.
